The October 2018 edition of Skywings has a full review of the Advance Iota2 EN-B wing. David Southern’s opinion is that while this wing is classified EN-B, his experience shows that it easily outperforms some EN-C gliders and concludes that it is an excellent upgrade from an EN-A wing. In his own words:
Pilots looking to move up from lower rated gliders will find the Iota 2 a good transition to make. My judgement is that many such pilots will stick with it, or a similar wing, as it offers pretty much everything a pilot needs.
Having seen pilots flying the Iota 2 in Spain and waxing lyrics about it, it is certainly on my consideration list for when I feel ready to upgrade..
